About the exhibition

The Serres d'Auteuil garden hosts the "Trees of Life" exhibition, a collection of photographs by Nicolas Henry, a French photographer, director and visual artist with a degree from the Beaux Arts de Paris.

It highlights the beauty and power of the nourishing trees of the Sahel: acacia, baobab and balanites. These iconic species tell a story of resilience, transmission and connection between communities and their environment. Through an artistic and humanist look, "Trees of Life" invites you to discover the natural and human riches of the Sahel, while recalling the essential role of trees in the restoration of ecosystems, the protection of soils and the improvement of living conditions.

It is presented for the first time in Paris from June 17 on the occasion of the world day to combat desertification.

This exhibition is proposed by the association SOS SAHEL partner of the Botanical garden from Paris.
