The Parisian edition of BEYOND THE STREETS is a continuation of previous stages in Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai and London, while giving a central place to Paris. It unveils new and historic works, rare archival documents, avant-garde fashion as well as immersive installations, most of them created exclusively for this Parisian edition.
Anchored in the lasting cultural impact of graffiti and street art, BEYOND THE STREETS is not a simple static exhibition but a true living platform. Alongside key international figures, more than a dozen French artists are in the spotlight, paying tribute to the deep and lasting relationship that Paris maintains with graffiti and urban art. The exhibition traces how this underground movement redefined cities, language, fashion, music and activism on a global scale. The exhibition transforms the Grande Halle de la Villette into a dynamic environment combining historical and contemporary works, immersive architectural installations, sculptures, photographs and original interventions.
