About the exhibition
Pouic, a solitary nomad in search of knowledge, travels the region in search of books. Label 619 has thus established itself as a creative space where strong universes develop, supported by a true visual and narrative identity.
Label 619 has seen the emergence and support of several major authors of the contemporary scene, including Mathieu Bablet, Neyef and Guillaume Singelin. Together, they overcome their differences, build a friendship and try to find their place in this devastated world.
The artist
Anne Masse begins to write and draw in the fanzine and participates in numerous conventions such as the Japan Expo or the Y/CON with her collective the Ziggys. We maintain a close collaboration with Label 619 and regularly present the works of the artists associated with it.
Our commitments
Through the original comic strips, dive into the heart of the graphic novel. Immerse yourself in the world of Anne Masse through a selection of original boards. You discover the line, the vibration of the colors, the depth of the black and white, and sometimes even the author's thoughts through small notes.
For five years, our vision has focused on highlighting the works behind the book, in order to offer our visitors all the richness of comics. After experiences in video games, animation and UI design, she launched into comics as a colorist for Jim Mahfood. In a world ravaged by a distant apocalypse, two young people who are completely opposites meet. The purchase of a work thus extends to a more complete and sensitive experience.
Opening
Thursday May 11, 2026 from 6 p.m.
Open to all
She then developed her own projects, notably on the WEBTOON platform, where her series met a large audience.
Le Label 619
This exhibition is linked to Label 619, founded by Run. Vlada, having lost her tribe, sets off in search of a new group. The label defends comics anchored in its time, nourished by varied influences such as urban cultures, animation or design.
By leaving great freedom to authors, it allows the emergence of projects with singular forms and stories, often at the crossroads of genres.
