About the exhibition

Au bord du terrain presents a series of large format paintings produced during a year of residency in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine. It shows the urban sports landscapes, the edges of the fields and city stadiums, discovered, crossed and recorded in the territory. It is a tribute to all the everyday infrastructures, which we pass by, and where we wait our turn to join the game. The exhibition recreates the architecture of a city stadium: the paintings become the stadium’s partitions. Thus, supporters, players and public mingle and merge.
