As part of the highlight on clothing, two worlds and two different approaches to clothing: on the one hand the memory of clothes - what they wear - and on the other the play around clothing - with disguise and its transformative energies.
For Armand, the story begins when Armand and his mother push open the door of a boutique in front of a past rosé: "Stories in cotton, second-hand clothes". Dahl.
For TheCoquette Princess, it is the desire to wear her most extraordinary clothes that meets the reality of the weather: swapping her princess and dancer outfits for an outfit that is only functional. Inside, a saleswoman, seated, embroidering, her tabby cat next to her. But she will find another game there!
A workshop will be offered in June by Edmée Planchon, screenwriter of the album "Armand and the stories of clothings" Exhibition - The clothes of "Armand" and Trunks, overflowing wardrobes and piles of mismatched socks... This exhibition is part of a set of exhibitions which also includes the presentation of Joëlle Jolivet's originals for her book "Costumes" published by Les grandes gens - from May 12 to June 27, on the 4th floor.
