About the exhibition
During the Belle-Époque, Parisian scenes rivaled each other in
proposals to entertain the public. That we wish to be moved
in front of the face
white of a Pierrot, shudder at the macabre stories of the Grand-Guignol,
have fun with clown-acrobats, or see Sarah Bernhardt tread the
boards, everyone can find one
representation to his taste.
The exhibition, which is held from May 5 to June 28, presents a selection of show posters representing the diversity of acts of the time. Come and discover how artists extol the merits of stars as much as rooms, some of which have passed into posterity.
Guided tour on Saturday May 16 from 11:30 a.m.
