About the exhibition

ATTACK ON CUTENESS AT THE LIBRARY!

Fabienne Audéoud is an artist living in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. She illustrates the little characters of this Youth universe on huge formats!

Fabienne Audéoud spent a dozen years in London during which she

trained in musical composition. After obtaining a degree in arts at Goldsmiths University, she devoted herself to the visual arts, in the context of the London scene of the 1990s. The artist follows a multidisciplinary career creating performances, musical pieces, paintings (sometimes in series), videos and, more recently, installations.

Her work explores power relations in particular, through the exploration of language.

The notion of representation and its political meaning in Western culture as well as feminist studies and the gender question also run through her research and her artistic productions.

In her performative approach, the artist is as much interested in the form of her pieces as in the reception and sociological and cultural impact of them by the public. Always with a touch of humor, Fabienne Audéoud creates, through her actions and performances, spaces in which complex underlying emotions are strongly present. Always with a touch of humor, she creates spaces in which actions take place to develop complex emotions.

An exhibition proposed by the Contemporary Art Fund - Paris Collection.
