Initiated by the France/Central Africa Interparliamentary Friendship Group and organized by the Ópera Art Collection endowment fund, this exhibition at the Orangery of the Senate highlights the work of several artists from Central Africa.

About the exhibition
This exhibition of paintings and sculptures will bring together the works of 11 contemporary artists: Sardoine Mia, Alain Ngann, Asapolis, Assoukrou Aké, Bienvenu Kouka-Binguimale, Deanna de Marigny, Gnat, Emma Sampil, Liza Lorig, Maroschka, Michel Anthony. As well as works from private collections from the Opéra Art Collection endowment fund with the works of the artists: Othéo, Virgile Nassara, Barthélémy Toguo, Djiguembe, Djita, Paul Awassoume, Moussa Sako, Amy KF, Franck Lundangi.
Program:
Friday 06/19: opening from 1 p.m. at the Orangery of the Senate (on invitation).
Saturday 06/20: Conference in the Senate. Medici Room (a registration link will be sent and you will need to bring your ID). The theme will be: African Woman: guardian of cultural heritage.
Wednesday 06/24: inauguration of the exhibition by the French and foreign authorities with the presence of all the artists.
Saturday 06/27: 2nd conference in the Senate whose theme will be: African Women in the Art market. Bring your identity document. A registration link will be communicated.
