About the exhibition
Boarding pass in hand, visitors are welcomed virtually by Captain Smith and guided throughout the experience by an original symphonic soundtrack composed by René Merkelbach and recorded with an orchestra of 52 musicians. Among the highlights is a particularly moving virtual reality room, paying tribute to the Titanic orchestra through an immersive sequence of great intensity. The sounds of the port and the pre-departure atmosphere immediately set the scene. The experience extends into a vast enveloping space where monumental images, narration and sensory effects offer a unique perspective on the history of the ship. After captivating more than a million visitors in Madrid, Munich, London, Vienna and Zurich, the most awarded immersive exhibition of 2025, The Legend of the Titanic is coming to the French capital for the first time. The route also integrates augmented reality devices and interactive experiences allowing you to explore the decks, cabins and even the current wreck of the Titanic.
A captivating, sensory and human experienceDesigned for all audiences, the exhibition offers an interactive space dedicated to families and children, with creative workshops and activities for fun learning. During the visit, the public passes through the different classes of the liner, from third class corridors to refined first class lounges. Spread over 3,000 m², the exhibition combines cutting-edge technology and historical facts, for an experience rich in emotions. At the crossroads of a historical exhibition and an immersive show, The Legend of the Titanic offers a captivating, sensory and deeply human experience, which goes beyond all previous exhibitions dedicated to the famous transatlantic. Original period objects, meticulous replicas and carefully documented historical references provide a better understanding of life on board. Thanks to monumental 360-degree projections, visitors are plunged into the heart of the ship, from its construction in the Belfast shipyards to its tragic fate on the night of April 14 to 15, 1912.
Meeting at Southampton quayThe journey begins on Southampton quay, recreated to life size. An exceptional meeting to embark on one of the most significant stories of the 20th century.
A reproduction of a lifeboat as well as an impressive replica of the iceberg reinforce the spectacular and educational dimension of the course.
